Moe Bandy

Country music legend Moe Bandy has come a long way from his bull riding days in Texas. Not to mention his years as a sheet metal worked by day and playing the honky tonks at night in and around his hometown of San Antonio. In the mid seventies when the country pop of Kenny Rogers and John Denver, and the outlaw sound of Waylon and Willie was all the rage, along came the traditionalist Moe Bandy.

About the Tops In Texas Rodeo

Jacksonville Tops in Texas Rodeo is rich in tradition, built over 46 years of presenting the top contenders in all events of the annual outdoor show. Just as exciting have been the hottest of country/western music performers and specialty acts who have entertained year after year. Sold out crowds are not unusual at the PRCA event and a full range of activities for the entire family is set for Western Week.

The rodeo is sponsored and staged by volunteers from the Jacksonville Riders Club and the Jacksonville Lions Club, with profits from the fast-paced event going to charitable endeavors in the area. In addition to an array of concessions, the rodeo features a carnival effect outside the arena with vendors of unique merchandise. Come join us for an adventure you're sure to enjoy!
